anabo : a new concept in housing 2009- andrew stoane architect Image Update, 3 May 2009 Planning permission has just been received for the first anabo prototype, for a site in Edinburgh University's King's Buildings campus. The house, a viola anabo 80, will be used as a live test bed for anabo's technology and construction methods and, on completion, will become a show home. The prototype will be used to fully test the efficiency of the solar roof, recycled exhaust air heating and hot water system. The completed anabo house should be ready to view by early summer 2009. anabo is in discussion with landowners over sites in West Lothian and Midlothian which could accommodate between fifteen and twenty anabo houses each.
