Three Grade A listed New Town Terrace houses (33-36 Drumsheugh Gardens) combined to create The Bonham Hotel – one of the top 20 best new hotels in the world (according to Conde Nast Traveler).

The Bonham Hotel transformation is subtle, with hints of modernity in the bright red spiral of seating/sculpture on the right and swirling fruit bowl on the left. With lighting being Jonathan Speirs & Associates forte, the Bonham has an invigorating interior: guests are met by a gorgeous black granite reception block (room to right) floating on a purple carpet.

Restaurant at The Bonham

The Bonham Hotel’s restaurant is formed from two enfiladed rooms connected with a huge former doorway and separated by yellow bute cloth. The latter is edged with mirror creating an intriguing optical illusion of continuous space.

The hotel restaurant is in a European style, but the team essentially like to work with natural and organic ingredients and produce at its best flavour when in season.’
