According to the POLHA website, their “mission is to create a range of quality homes within neighbourhoods that are great places in which to live. Since 1975 we have invested over £190m in the ongoing regeneration of Leith and North Edinburgh. Now owning and managing over 2,700 affordable homes we are focussed on providing individual support and promoting the overall wellbeing of the community.

Our ambition is to continue to grow and provide excellent services for people. Over the past 10 years our TOiL programme has supported nearly 500 young people into employment or further education, and we have distributed grant funding of nearly £3m working alongside a wide range of locally based agencies to benefit the wider community.

POLHA is governed by a voluntary Board of Management which meets regularly to discuss Association business, and guide its overall direction. Board Members are from a mix of backgrounds and professions which brings a range of different skills and viewpoints to the Association.”
