This project led on site by Edinburgh Architects Dignan Read Dewar finally received planning permission in early 2001. The developer is Miller Homes.

The scheme is four to six storeys high and is radically different to the previously-rejected designs, using much more cedar alongside the white Sto render.

FBM – Building PR: Fraser Brown MacKenna Architects was the only firm of architects to receive an award in 2004 from the National Home Improvement Council. Their project for the Port of Leith Housing Association at Ronaldson’s Wharf won a commendation in the Best Brownfield/Recycled Building category. The waterfront block of this three-phase development recently featured on Scottish Television.
