In Oct 2001 MAST submitted the winning entry for the Scotland wide Sustainable Housing Competition, promoted by Castlehill Housing Association, for a site at Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. The final scheme of 34 houses was completed in 2004 and has recently won the Chartered Institute of Housing Conference environmental innovation award for 2004

Edinburgh City Council has granted detail plans for a £5m hotel on Hill Place to the Royal College of Surgeons. Earlier this year the Royal College of Surgeons had detailed plans granted for a £5m University alteration in Edinburgh

Mavisbank House
Work to renovate Robert Adam’s Mavisbank House, Loanhead, could begin in 2006/2007 in a £7m scheme. A development study, backed by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Midlothian Council, into the conservation, access, use & marketing of the 18th-century house and its 70-acre parkland ground, is nearing completion
