Prospect
Following two articles about my employment published without my knowledge, and using information from a private phone call to do with attendance at a board meeting, I resigned earlier this week from the Prospect Editorial Board. Later the same day Alan Dunlop also resigned for entirely different reasons, to do with the Carbuncles Awards.

"Reason: I would like to see Glasgow Harbour in there as a worst planning decision because it is one of the best example of atrocious late 20th century developer led nonsense that you will find - the point being that the Council could and should have insisted on an entirely different structure and content for the development. As it turned out, Clyde port got exactly what they wanted, ably assisted by numerous architects who were happy to take the dosh while the Council did next to nothing except approve the planning application(s). I think having Glasgow Harbour in there sends out a strong message about concern for the urban environment". Willie Miller

With talks now set for 27 Jan in London to agree New Forth Road Bridge funding, Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy suggests the design should also be on the agenda, according to The Scotsman.
