Paris is the most visited city in Europe and for good reason. The Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Louvre Museum – there’s just so much to see! To get a different view of Paris visit the Montmartre district or stroll around on a water taxi along the Seine River. For some great nightlife and fun stop at one of many cabarets or clubs throughout the city.

Copenhagen, Denmark

Copenhagen is one of the most beautiful cities in Northern Europe. It’s home to Nyhavn, a picturesque canal lined with colourful houses and shops. Beautiful beaches are found along the water that separates Denmark from Sweden. If you have time, visit Tivoli Gardens for some fun fairground entertainment.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Amsterdam is another beautiful city famous for its canals. However, unlike many European cities, it’s laid out in a grid pattern making it easy to navigate. Amsterdam also has some fantastic museums, including the Van Gogh Museum where you can view many of his pieces of art. If that’s not your style though, sit in one of the famous cafes and check out the Eredivisie odds.

Venice, Italy

Venice is one of the most famous Italian cities. It’s home to the beautiful St Mark’s Basilica with the grand bell tower and famed Bridge of Sighs. However, what really makes this city so beautiful are the grand canals and bridges that make up its architecture. The area’s also known for its views from Piazza San Marco, which overlooks a canal filled with gondolas.

Budapest, Hungary

This Hungarian city is one of the more beautiful European cities off the beaten path. It’s home to some interesting sites such as Heroes Square, a large public square decorated with statues of famous Hungarians. To get a great view visit Gellert Hill which is located on the Buda side of the city. The site offers stunning views including ones looking back towards Pest and over the Danube River.

Florence, Italy

Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in Tuscany. It’s home to many churches including the Duomo di Firenze, or Florence Cathedral, which was built in the 14th century and remained unfinished until 1874. To see some of Giorgio Vasari’s famous frescos go to Palazzo Vecchio. The site has several important works by Vasari and other Italian artists such as Michelangelo.
