Studio DuB – formerly Duffy & Batt Architects
Gordon Duffy, principal of Studio DuB, grew up in Edinburgh and studied Interior Design at Napier. He took a Masters in Environmental Design at the Royal College of Art and completed his architectural training at the Polytechnic of Central London.
Remaining there during the 1980s he worked as an architect with Piers Gough at CZWG who has described Gordon as “An exceptionally brilliant architect and a really nice man” (Piers Gough CBE, Daily Telegraph). On returning to Edinburgh in 1991, Gordon worked with Ben Tindall Architects.
Gordon then set up his own practice Duffy & Batt in 1993, in partnership with Charlotte Batt. The architecture practice has been known as Studio DuB since 2006 after Charlotte left to set up her own company, Rosehip Properties.
