Boswall Parkway provides 15No affordable flats forming an ‘L’ shaped building over 4 stories on a corner brownfield site in North Edinburgh, within an existing interwar local authority housing estate.
The church (Granton United Church) that occupied the site has been demolished and a new modern facility is being built at ground level on the corner of the site, integral with the flats

Granton United was formally established on 25th August 2004. However. before that, Granton Methodist Church (founded in 1938) and Granton United Reformed Church (founded in 1936 as a Congregational Church) had been sharing worship together since May 1997. A joint Elders Council was established in November 2001 and since then the two congregations have worked increasingly together.
Both buildings were eventually sold with an ambitious rebuild programme undertaken to provide a purpose built building for congregational and community use alongside a small development of flats and houses owned and managed by a local Housing Association
The new church was dedicated on 3rd March 2012.
