Opening Hours - correct at time of writing, always check with the owners:
Bar Mon-Sun 11am-1am
Food Service: Mon-Sun 11.30am-3pm, 6.30pm-9.30pm

Halo bar is owned by Keith Murray. He is the son of former Rangers chairman (& steel tycoon) David Murray (who lives nearby in Charlotte Square, Edinburgh). Also owned by Keith Murray is the Circus Cafe. Halo has a leather bar, modern chandeliers by Mike Stoane and a simple large floor-to-ceiling window.

Architect Kerr Blyth also refurbished The Iguana bar in Edinburgh's Bristo Square, renamed as Assembly. Other Kerr Blyth projects in the capital include elements of Opal Lounge

The Opal Lounge was opened by Montpeliers in Feb 2002, the building being designed by Malcolm Fraser Architects, Edinburgh
