The Crown Estate Conservation Award is made to the best work of conservation which demonstrates successful restoration and / or adaptation of an architecturally significant building.

Newhailes House: Description

Newhailes is historic house in East Lothian. It is a grade A listed 17th century house acquired in 1995 by the National Trust for Scotland with its fabric, decorations, fittings and contents dating back to all the periods of its four century existence.
