![]() Amisfield Park Estate, Haddington: images © Adrian Welch Housing estate on eastern perimeter of Haddington: interesting social architecture threaded through with mix of hard & soft landscaping celebrating the fall across the site. Mostly three and four bedroom houses with two terraces of flats, all centred on park/playground shown in pictures right:
![]() Modern Housing Estate, Haddington: images © Adrian Welch Featured in various architecture magazines in the sixties plans are now afoot (2003) for some refurbishment. The proliferation of bluish brick low walls of various heights have lasted the last forty years well but need restoration. The houses step back and forth in a modern interpretation of traditional terraces.
