Across the road is the Collective Gallery (over the road at No.22-28 by the same architects, similar palette), then left through North Bridge Arcade up to North Bridge: the Pizza Express is across the road.
The cafe space was being revised as part of a refurbishment.
Gallery space and film lounge showcasing new, innovative photographic art and themed exhibitions.

Stills is a centre for photography based in the heart of Edinburgh. We offer exhibitions and production facilities as well as a range of engagement opportunities for anyone to discover, enjoy and understand photography.
Stills was established in 1977. Since that time it has become a champion for the important and powerful role that the medium of photography plays in the world today.
Gallery exhibitions are free and open Monday – Saturday from 11am – 6pm.
Facilities are open 11am – 9pm, Monday-Thursday and 11am-6pm, Friday & Saturday.
