This £25m Asda Edinburgh was submitted for planning Oct 2004.
The new supermarket would create about 400 jobs.
Around 500 car parking spaces are proposed and a size of 41,000sq ft.
The new Asda Edinburgh store is located just north of Chancelot Mill at Western Harbour near the Newhaven / Leith border.
