Leith Theatre

Alba Conservation Trust, working in partnership with the Leith Theatre Trust, have recently appointed Page \ Park Architects to conduct an options appraisal study on the repair and future use of the Leith Theatre complex in Edinburgh.

The study includes a condition survey of the existing Category B listed building and examining the re-use of the building as a community based arts facility.

The ambition is to find a viable and sustainable use of the building as a vibrant centre for community events and the Arts. Page \ Park are particularly excited about the possibilities offered by the fantastic volume of the former 1500 seat theatre space.

Page \ Park Architects are working in conjunction with David Narro Associates on structures and Harley Haddow on services, with Gardiner and Theobald providing cost advice. Funding for the study is being provided by the Big Lottery.
