Building 35 is a refined example of neoclassical architecture, located between Dundas House - focal point to the New Town's long axis - and Harvey Nichols. Michael Laird Architects have previously restored two other historic buildings on St Andrew Square, for Standard Life and Scottish Equitable. The project went on site in early 2006. ![]() building: photo © adrian welch sep 2006 with lumix camera One of the oldest buildings in the New Town, being refurbished in 2006 RBS St Andrew Square ![]() photo © adrian welch nov07 with lumix camera St Andrew Square Retail / Commercial property - Basil Spence, architect ![]() building: photo © adrian welch sep 2006 with lumix camera RBS St Andrew Square : No.42 - former RBS HQ prior to completion of Gogarburn ![]() photo © adrian welch 230207 with lumix camera Edinburgh New Town St Andrew Square Department Store - Jenners Harvey Nichols Edinburgh : back to index Comments / photos for the 35 St Andrew Square Edinburgh Architecture page welcome: info@edinburgharchitecture.co.uk 35 St Andrew Square building - page: adrian welch / isabelle lomholt |
