Bracewell Stirling Consulting Stirling Offices News

As it prepares to celebrate 100 years in business, Bracewell Stirling Consulting (BSC), one of Scotland’s longest-established architectural practices, has announced it has relocated its head office to new, state-of-the-art premises in Stirling. The new office, which will cover Central Scotland, is located at Scion House, Stirling University Innovation Park, replacing the original premises in Tillicoultry.

The move is in part driven by a 30% increase in staff numbers at the company in the last 12 months, bringing the headcount to 29. As BSC enjoys a period of growth, it anticipates making further hires in the next 24 months, with the new Central Scotland office capable of accommodating up to 10 additional team members.

Commenting on the move, Senior Partner, David Keith, who is based at the new Stirling office said:

“As we experience a period of growth, the new office will provide a more modern and collaborative working environment, serving as the perfect platform for further planned growth in the coming years. We have made a series of new hires as we gear up for an increased workload and expand into new markets. Our project pipeline remains strong across our core housing sector clients, while we are also experiencing growing success in the commercial sector projects we undertake.

“As we increase our focus on Strategic, Urban, Masterplanning, and Architectural Design, Mark Hamilton has joined us at the new Stirling office as Strategic Design + Masterplan Lead. Indeed, our new standalone masterplanning service has already seen a very strong uptake, with projects secured across the country for various new and existing clients.”

Joining consultancy group brings synergies & opportunities

Fellow Senior Partner at Bracewell Stirling, Amanda MacRitchie, who is based in the company’s Inverness office, commented:

“It is an exciting time for BSC as we prepare to mark our centenary year. Having recently joined the expansive consultancy portfolio of leading Scottish investment company, GEG Capital – we are already benefitting from the synergies and opportunities that come from being part of a group boasting in excess of 200 specialists across multiple sectors and locations.

“To coincide with opening of the new Central Scotland office we have also moved to larger premises in Oban and recruited new Urban Design + Masterplanner, Sarah McKenzie, who will work closely with Mark Hamilton on developing strategic masterplans to our range of clients. We expect to add more members to the BSC team in the coming months.”

Jia MacKenzie, Director at GEG Capital, commented:

“The opening of the new Central Scotland office at Stirling University Innovation Park – and the bolstering of its Master-Planning service – are the latest significant step in the growth journey we are taking with Bracewell Stirling. At GEG Capital we champion innovation and expertise, which BSC exemplifies, and their influence is already being felt both across the group and across the various sectors they operate in as demand for their services grows.”
