Beluga, Edinburgh : Architecture Information + Images
Restaurant, Chambers St, Lee Boyd, Old Town, Edinburgh, Scotland
Beluga
Now Revolution Bar
The three separate uses for the building have distinct entrances, united by the steel and glass screen. The third-floor flats have exposed original roof trusses and a calm and unfussy fit-out.

Beluga Edinburgh
30a Chambers St, opposite Museum of Scotland
Beluga opened early 2001: basement bar & restaurant. The interior is clean and restrained. Beluga's key draw is a stacked stone waterfall by the entry stairs. Beluga's huge expensive glazed entry doors by Lee Boyd are another classy feature.

Opposite the entrance to the new Museum Extension is the subtly-inserted entry to the Grade B-listed former Edinburgh Dental School converted into residential accommodation (right, above), offices and a ground & basement bar/restaurant. The latter comes complete with a spectacular waterfall by the stairs, Beluga. |
