Terry Farrell & Co. were also responsible for the recent masterplan for both The Dean Gallery and the adjacent Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art - SNGMA - former John Watson's School by Burn, 1825, involving co-ordinated sculptures, etc.

The Dean Gallery houses the Gallery of Modern Art’s Dada and Surrealism collections. It also contains many works by Edinburgh-born Sir Eduardo Paolozzi. The Gallery is located just to the East of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
Sculptor Sir Eduardo Paolozzi offered a collection of prints, drawings, maquettes, moulds and the contents of his studio to the Dean Gallery in 1994. The Dean Gallery includes an artist’s library.
