Consultants WYG and LDA Design have been appointed by The City of Edinburgh Council to draw up a long-term vision for George Street, one of the Scottish capital’s principal shopping streets. The plans will aim to improve accessibility, ensuring George Street meets the needs of residents now and in the future.

Work has begun to restore Edinburgh’s A-listed Ross Fountain to its former glory. the project will cost around £1.5m. The cast-iron feature has been removed piece by piece from West Princes Street Gardens. After repair it will return in Spring 2018.
