We can arrange accommodation in contemporary quality Edinburgh hotels, dining in a range of good restaurants and suggested evening entertainment, ie the whole package for a fee. We can also provide tours information on programme, geographical areas and building types up to a year ahead of trips. For example a group of architects interested in innovative social housing could be provided with tailored information allowing a programme to be agreed prior to their visit. Visitors can be met from the airport, their accommodation, or at the starting point of their tour. The Walking Tour can simply be a guided tour of Edinburgh. It can be backed up by hand-outs and experts for buildings of special interest, for example a project architect of a certain building. A standard proforma allows a tailored service, eg for larger groups a second guide may be required, some groups are not interested in anything other than the architecture. Other than Edinburgh, we have provided information on Glasgow and areas within the Lothians. For Glasgow we have a highly experienced writer who can provide walking tours provided sufficient notice is given. Recent Edinburgh Walking Tours include in 2005 a group of 73 Swedish architects & engineers, 40 Dutch architects and 42 architects from Lyons. In previous years we have had 22 members of the Chicago Architecture Foundation, the Royal Society of Dutch Architects, 18 Ukrainian architects, 52 Dutch architects, 12 members of the Architects Association of Catalonia, Bartlett Architecture students, Dublin planners. In Autumn 2005 we are showing round groups of Spanish, American, German and Russian architects.
